PENERAPAN DEEP LEARNING BERBASIS KAHOOT SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BAGI GURU DI SD NEGERI 190 PALEMBANG

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology encourages teachers to implement innovative, interactive, and student-centered learning approaches. One relevant approach is Deep Learning, which emphasizes meaningful conceptual understanding through critical thinking, reflection, and discussion. However, many elementary school teachers still face challenges in implementing this approach effectively in classroom instruction. Therefore, this Community Service Program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of teachers at SD Negeri 190 Palembang in implementing Deep Learning through Kahoot as an interactive learning medium. The program employed several implementation methods, including lectures, demonstrations on the use of Kahoot, hands-on practice, discussions, and evaluation. The participants consisted of teachers from SD Negeri 190 Palembang, who showed high enthusiasm throughout the training activities. The results indicated that the participants successfully improved their understanding of the Deep Learning approach, were able to operate the Kahoot application as an interactive learning medium, and gained the ability to design more engaging and meaningful learning activities. The use of Kahoot not only increased learning motivation but also enabled teachers to facilitate reflection and discussion, allowing students to develop a deeper understanding of the learning materials. This community service program is expected to serve as an initial step toward improving the quality of technology-enhanced learning in elementary schools.
