NUZULUL QUR’AN DAN PROSES PEWAHYUAN:KAJIAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF ULUMUL QUR’AN

Abstract

Nuzulul Qur’an is an important subject in Ulumul Qur’an because it is closely related to the history of the Qur’anic revelation, the process of revelation to Prophet Muhammad, and the position of the Qur’an as guidance for human life. This study discusses the meaning of nuzulul Qur’an and revelation, the stages of the Qur’an’s descent, the gradual process of revelation to Prophet Muhammad, the wisdom behind the gradual revelation, and the relationship between revelation and the development of the Prophet’s mission. This research uses a qualitative library research approach, using the Qur’an as the primary source and relevant works of Ulumul Qur’an and journal articles as supporting sources. The study shows that the revelation of the Qur’an took place through stages and was closely related to the process of building faith and guiding the Muslim community. The gradual revelation also demonstrates that the Qur’an provided guidance in accordance with the circumstances faced by the Prophet and his companions. Thus, the process of revelation was not only a transmission of divine words, but also an important part of the formation of faith, worship, morality, and social life.
