PERAN FASILITASI PEMERINTAH PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR DALAM MISI DAGANG KE SINGAPURA TAHUN 2025

Abstract

This study examines the role of the East Java Provincial Government as a facilitator in the 2025 trade mission to Singapore, which successfully generated the highest transaction value of Rp4.163 trillion. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with the East Java Provincial Government serving as the unit of analysis in its capacity as a subnational actor in international economic cooperation. Data were obtained through interviews with the Head of the Export Development Team at the East Java Industry and Trade Agency, official government documentation, and secondary data from various relevant sources. This study employs Panayotis Soldatos’s concept of Paradiplomacy to analyze the role of the East Java Provincial Government as a facilitator in the 2025 trade mission to Singapore. The results indicate that the success of the trade mission is influenced not only by East Java’s economic potential and Singapore’s strategic position but also by the Government’s role in facilitating the trade mission in a structured manner.
